Announcing Fall 2025 Audition Dates

Please choose either Friday or Saturday to attend:

Friday June 27, 7:00-9:00 pm OR Saturday June 28, 1:00-3:00 pm
Callbacks on Sunday June 30, 1:00-3:00 pm

Auditions will be cold readings from the script performed in small groups. Please come at the beginning of the audition time and be prepared to stay until you are finished.  If your time is limited let us know so we can try to complete your audition as quickly as possible. Bring a headshot and resume if available.

Spirit Level

E!E! Will be producing “Spirit Level”, a ghostly British comedy by Pam Valentine.

Performance Dates: September 12, 13, 19, 20, 21 at the Lincoln Center Magnolia Theater.

Cast includes 3 male roles and 4 female roles.
Jack Cameron: A Ghost, Formerly a famous author of  crime novels, Age 50’s-60’s
Susie Cameron: A Ghost, Jack’s fun-loving wife, Age 50’s-60’s
Mark Webster: The Estate Agent, middle-aged to older, pompous and pedantic
Simon Willis: Aspiring crime writer, 20’s -30’s
Flic Willis: His pregnant wife, 20’s -30’s
Marcia Bradshaw: Flic’s overbearing mother, Age 50’s-60’s
Guardian Angel: Overworked and a bit wonky, Middle-aged to older

Synopsis:

When famous writer Jack Cameron and his wife Susie drown in a boating accident, they are refused entry into heaven, as Jack is a card-carrying atheist.  Instead, they return to haunt the country cottage where they once lived. Their only pleasure comes from spooking the estate agent and frightening away any would-be renters. Things change when Simon, an aspiring crime writer, and Flic, his pregnant wife, move in. Inevitably, Susie and Jack are drawn into the lives of the young couple. Moments of hilarity and confusion lead to a moment of crisis, and Jack finds himself doing something that no card-carrying atheist would ever admit to. But will it help…?
